Precision
I criticise a party, a state and a set of policies. Anti-Chinese racism is real, and this is not it.
My position: China has built a system of mass arbitrary detention, surveillance, forced labour and birth suppression aimed at Uyghurs and other Turkic Muslim peoples, and the UN’s own human rights office concluded it may amount to crimes against humanity.
None of that requires hating Chinese people, claiming every allegation ever made is proven, or pretending no Uyghur ever carried out an attack. A state does not get to answer terrorism by interning a share of an entire ethnic group and engineering its birth rate downward. That is the whole of my claim.
Evidence
My strongest claims rest on leaked government documents and China’s own statistics, not on testimony alone.
Consistency
The same standard I use on Palestine and Myanmar. Silence from allies is not evidence of innocence.
